Events

Come and listen before you decide.

We host small sessions on the things that actually keep people up at night — selling a business, a tax bill nobody warned them about, what happens to the money after they are gone. You leave knowing more than when you arrived, whether or not you ever call us.

Two ways we do this, and neither of them is a pitch.

01

Small-group dinner seminars

An evening, a table of ten or twelve, and one subject worked through properly — usually what happens to a business owner's money in the two years around a sale. Joe presents, then answers whatever gets asked. Nobody is sold anything and nobody is asked to stay behind.

How most people meet the firm today.

02

Online sessions

The same material for people who would rather not give up an evening, or who are not local. Shorter, screen-shared, and recorded so you can watch it later if the time does not suit.

In preparation.

The calendar

Nothing on the public calendar right now.

Our seminars are small on purpose, so most of them fill from invitations before they would ever need a listing. When we have a session with open seats, it appears here with the date, the subject and a way to reserve one.

How to hear about the next one

Tell us you are interested and we will let you know when the next session is set. It is a phone call, an hour, and we will also tell you plainly if a seminar is not the right starting point for your situation.

In the meantime

The same material, in your own time.

What gets covered in a seminar is the same ground we write and film about. Both are being built out now, and both are free.
